Great space invader\/ side scroller kind of game.Highly recommended for 2 players due to the teleport mechanic.Would be great if it includes 4 player local play.Needs more content.Highly priced at the moment.. I have not played a top down shooter as fun as this one in a long time.Pros:* Reasonable and fun dodging of enemies and bullets compared to some other shooters where the visuals or the enemies are so overwhelming.* Brilliant game mechanics. Switching between the two dimensions is brilliant and fun, but that's not the only nice game mechanic in here.* Local co-op.* Nice visuals, and the performance was very solid at 60fps, though I'm running it on a powerful machine so I'm not sure if this statement holds true on lower end machines.* Gamepad (SteamController) worked well out of the box.Platform specific pros:* Runs well on Linux (nVidia with binary driver)* Worked as expected in dual monitors setup.Cons:* The game could not remember my screen resolution settings and default to a low resolution setting, so I have to set it every time I launch the game. Though that's not a big problem since changing the resolution was very fast.* Pressing B on the controller in the menu doesn't work (doesn't take you to upper menu), so I have to use Esc on the keyboard instead.UPDATE:- The upper two issues mentioned in the cons section seems to have been fixed now (not sure if there was an update to the game itself, or maybe some update to my system).- Another con I would add now that I have finished the campaign is that the campaign is shorter than one would wish. That doesn't change my overall review though. I hope they provide some more levels through a DLC or something.Overall: Highly recommended if you like top down shooters.. Wow! Changing dimension is the perfect mechanic for a shootemup. It starts easy but then both screens gets crowded of enemies and bullets and jumping from one screen to the other is challenging and demands total focus. It's a refreshing way to use my skills.For the genre, this game is long enough (13 levels, but I needed to repeat some of them :P) and the replay value is very high (thanks to the innovative core mechanic and lots of new modes).Totally recommended!. I'm a big fan of "bad physics" games, and of danmaku games, and this one's an amazing mashup of the two. Truly brain-breaking good fun.
